About Murai International
"Murai" (村井) means "village well" - the community resoruce
Founded from the lived experience and frustration watching countless relocation services glorify global gentrification and social media praising "one size fits all gimmicks", Murai International was born to serve as a bridge to help those who do dream of living abroad. We focus on helping you find a path that truly fits your desires and sets you up for successfully living abroad while also honoring and integrating into the communities where they land.
Out ethos is pretty simple.

We don't focus too much on borders, but rather on designing a life in a place that is aligned with each individual. We don't exploit the communities to which we integrate. And we don't believe in "the best way" to do it, but rather what sets up each client for success.
Whether it be a life-long move, few years, sabbatical or anything in between, we're here to help you better understand what is right for you and navigate the complexities of moving abroad with respect and fly.

Hi, my name is Amber but I go by Murai.
Founder of Murai International.
Global lifestyle Consultant. International plug for people and brands integrating into new communities.
I've lived and worked across 20+ countries, helping brands like Uber Eats, Disney+ and the Paris Olympics expand into new markets. But I've also lived this personally - from moving to The Netherlands where I knew no one in 2016, to learning and honoroing a local, previously unknown religious ceremony, Ramadan, in Saudi Arabia to building real friends turned family in Nairobi.
I created Murai International because I know what it's like to feel the pull - and not know where to begin or what step to take next. This is the resource I wish existed, stripped of the social media trends and focused on the real people looking to change their lives.
